There is no shortage of “talking avatar” solutions.
The commercial solutions are getting better and better, but the open source world is not all that far behind.
Today, we’re looking at “Sonic”, which delivers results comparable to some of the paid solutions, and you can run it for free inside of ComfyUI.
Because this workflow has specific version requirements for Python and Pytorch, I didn’t want to risk installing it on my system just to test, so we’re using MimicPC to run this workflow remotely on a much more powerful GPU.
